Stir-fried beef with wide rice noodles and vegetables.

Beef chow fun

Ingredients

  • Beef – 100g

  • Ho Fun (wide rice noodles) – 350g

  • Onion – 40g

  • Bean sprouts – 25g

  • Scallions – a small amount

  • Chinese chives – 15g

  • Chili peppers – to taste

Seasonings

  • Bull Head Brand Shallot Sauce – 1 tablespoon

  • Soy sauce – 2 tablespoons

  • Oyster sauce – 1.5 tablespoons

  • Granulated sugar – 1 teaspoon

Marinade

  • Soy sauce – 1 tablespoon

  • Granulated sugar – 1/4 teaspoon

  • Cornstarch (or potato starch) – 1 tablespoon

  • White pepper powder – a pinch

  • Rice wine – 1 tablespoon

COOKING STEPS

    Combining the beef strips with the marinade ingredients and marinate well.
