Ingredients

  • Tilapia Fillets ----------------------- 250g
  • King Oyster Mushroom ------------ 1 pc
  • Shredded Ginger ------------------- 4 pcs
  • Jujubes  -----------------------------30g
  • Goji Berries ------------------------- 5g
  • Potato Starch----------------------- a pinch

Seasoning / Broth

  • Sesame Oil Chicken Broth --------- 1 pack

  • Water ------------------------------- 400cc

  • Rice Wine --------------------------- 30g

  • Salt ---------------------------------- a pinch

    Prepare all ingredients.

    Lightly coat the tilapia fillets with a thin layer of potato starch to lock in the moisture and keep the fish tender.

    Heat oil in a pan and sear the tilapia fillets until both sides are golden brown. Set aside.

    In a soup pot, add 400cc of water along with the ginger slices and Jujubes. Bring the mixture to a boil.

    Once the water comes to a boil, add the tilapia pieces, king oyster mushrooms, and the Sesame Oil Chicken Broth, then continue to simmer.

    Once the soup returns to a boil, stir in the rice wine, goji berries, and a pinch of salt to taste. Simmer for about 1 minute, and it's ready to serve.
